Kadie Ausherbauer, PhD, LMFT
Kadie Ausherbauer, PhD, LMFT, graduated with a Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Nebraska in 2014 and a Doctorate in Family Social Science, specializing in Couple and Family Therapy in 2020. Kadie specializes in evidence-based treatment for PTSD, and is a member of the U.S.-based training team for Narrative Exposure Therapy (NET).
Kadie enjoys working with individuals, couples, and families from a strengths and resilience perspective. Kadie has a compassionate and practical approach, and draws from Family Systems Theory, Interpersonal Neurobiology, Internal Family Systems, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as well as Narrative Exposure Therapy.
Kadie works with clients with a wide range of life experiences; she has a decade of experience working with clients with substance use problems, involvement in the adult court system, juvenile justice system, and child protection services. It is her great joy to help clients in any situation to connect with their values, and find or deepen a meaningful way of life going forward.
