Do You Know The Significance of Our Logo?

An indoor potted bonsai tree has to be uprooted every four or five years and put into a new pot. This process takes gentle skill as the dirt needs to be brushed away from the roots with great care. The roots are inspected and sometimes pruned in this process. This tender care of the bonsai affects its growth and health.

Founder & CEO, Jennifer Simpson-Dahl, LMFT,  chose the picture to represent SBCC because the process of tending to a bonsai is a lovely metaphor for much of what we do with our clients – we gently help them expose their roots, brush them off, inspect them and sometimes prune them back a bit, ultimately reframing it all in a new pot to encourage growth and health.
