Katy Lund, MSW, LICSW

Katy Lund received her Masters of Social Work from Augsburg University. Katy has been trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She has areas of special interest in children and families, parenting strategies, autism, life transitions, depression, anxiety, and solution focused strategies.

Katy’s therapeutic approach mixes attachment theory with systems and solution focused strategies. She believes that a good connection with your therapist makes a big impact in progress. Feeling comfortable with the therapist makes hard conversations much easier to have and allows for more space for change. From there, we can look at what roadblocks and barriers exist and how you can make effective changes to be able to live the life you want.

Katy also has specialized training in assessing and diagnosing Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). She is part of our ASD team and provides assessments in our Northfield location.
