Christina Goodman, LMFT
Christina enjoys providing psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults and families. She has special training in assessing and treating children birth to 5 years, and working with Children/adolescents/adults who have experienced complex trauma. Christina is trained in Trauma Focused CBT and Advanced Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART).
Christina uses an array of theories and interventions but Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), interactive play, person centered therapy, narrative, experiential, and attachment theory are the foundation of her work. Christina focuses on incorporating the whole family system within the therapeutic process, and values the importance of strengthening interpersonal relationships to create change.
Christina has experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses such as anxiety, trauma, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and depression, and has worked closely with clients within the foster care system, as well as through adoption.
Christina earned her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Saint Mary’s University in the winter of 2016. She is currently a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and is an approved LMFT and LPCC clinical supervisor. In her free time Christina enjoys spending time with family/friends, and coaching.
