Miranda Johnson, LMFT
Miranda (Mandy) Johnson, LMFT, enjoys working alongside children, adolescents and adults. Miranda is especially passionate about relational work with couples and families; believing growth comes through connection and collaboration with others.
Miranda adopts a client-centered, relationship-focused and strengths-based perspective towards therapy. She utilizes the teachings of attachment theory in combination with other therapeutic techniques such as play therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, narrative therapy and experiential therapy in her work with clients.
She has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, personality disorders, and couple/family conflict. Above all, Miranda believes in finding a match between client, clinician and therapeutic approach that will cultivate a secure base to explore.
Miranda graduated from Saint Mary’s University with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
