Caitlyn Haring is a clinical trainee in the New Prague office. She earned her Bachelor’s degree at the University of North Dakota and is currently pursuing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She looks forward to working with children, adolescents, and adults while at Secure Base Counseling Center.

Caitlyn understands the importance of diversity and welcomes individuals from all communities.

She practices a person centered, strengths based approach, while also focusing on building therapeutic rapport with her clients. Caitlyn has a special interest in working with the LGBTQIA+ and BIPOC populations, as well as youth who have high intensity behavioral needs.

Caitlyn has experience across settings working with clients dealing with depression, anxiety, trauma, and interpersonal conflicts. She also enjoys working with neurodivergent clients. Caitlyn utilizes many therapeutic techniques, particularly DBT, play therapy, and talk therapy. She also focuses on attachment styles and childhood trauma, while incorporating a mindfulness approach.

Outside of work, Caitlyn enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a wife, two stepchildren, a dog, and a lizard. She loves to read, play sports, and get lost in a good crossword puzzle.
