Lindsey Zemanek, LMFT
Lindsey Zemanek, LMFT, enjoys providing psychotherapy to individuals of all ages, couples, and complex family systems.
Lindsey utilizes approaches of narrative therapy and solution focused therapy. She also specializes in attachment and person-focused therapy techniques in order to help facilitate growth within the client. Lindsey enjoys bringing mindfulness and art techniques into sessions too. She is also open and comfortable using other therapeutic techniques that best suit the individual.
Lindsey has experience working with a variety of mental health diagnoses, including anxiety, trauma, and depression. She also has significant experience working with people on the Autism Spectrum. She has additional training in EMDR: Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Person-Centered Thinking.
Lindsey earned her clinical master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at New Mexico State University. When she is not working at Secure Base Counseling Center, Lindsey enjoys working on her small hobby farm and hanging out with her many animal friends.
