Drayden Schrader

Drayden (Dray) Schrader is a Clinical Intern at Secure Base Counseling Center as of September, 2025. He will receive his Master’s degree in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling from Walden University in May 2026. Drayden is open to working in multiple different therapeutic frameworks, but does have more experience regarding taking back control of one’s thoughts, behaviors, and emotions through cognitive behavioral and emotive techniques, with additional emphasis on family systems and trauma awareness.

Drayden has experience working with trauma and trauma-related disorders, substance use disorders, autism spectrum disorder, various depressive and anxious disorders, and several forms of severe mental illness. Apart from disorders, Drayden has worked with families, women, and children in crisis from domestic violence, LGBTQ+ clients, and a wide range of ages experiencing homelessness. 

Apart from school and now interning with SBCC, Drayden enjoys driving around the Midwest to visit friends, reading, and playing various tabletop games.
