Danielle Fanslow, LSW, LADC-S
Danielle Fanslow, LSW, LADC-S, is a Clinical Intern at Secure Base Counseling Center
(SBCC). She is on track to graduate with honors from St. Mary’s University with a Master of Social Work degree in April 2026.
Danielle earned her Associate of Science in Alcohol and Drug Counseling from Rochester Community College in 2018 and her Bachelor of Social Work from Walden University in 2023. She became fully licensed as an Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) in 2022, obtained her Social Work license in 2023, and earned her supervisory LADC credential in January 2025.
Her professional background includes substance use counseling, social work, case management, crisis services, and leadership in non-profit behavioral health programs. Danielle’s professional experience includes working with a wide range of people, from 14 to 75 years old, especially those facing multiple challenges like co-occurring disorders, trauma, mood and personality issues, as well as involvement with the criminal justice system, homelessness, and poverty. She is dedicated to providing care that is trauma-informed, person-centered, and focused on harm reduction.
At SBCC, Danielle provides psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, and children, using solution-focused and strengths-based practices. She especially values approaches such as narrative therapy, internal family systems, attachment theory, cognitive-behavioral and dialectical behavior therapy, all within a biopsychosocial-spiritual framework. She sees clients in Northfield, Farmington, and via telehealth.
In addition to her clinical responsibilities, Danielle finds happiness with her husband, her two children, three stepchildren, and her dogs. Her passions include a love for learning, golfing, photographing sunsets, and watching movies that range from the classics of the 80s rom-coms to the newest sci-fi films.
