Hannah Beumer, BA

 Hannah Beumer

Hannah Beumer, BA, is a clinical trainee intern at Secure Base Counseling Center providing therapy at the Northfield office. She believes that there is no “one size fits all” approach to therapy, because every client has unique needs. Hannah is committed to collaborating with clients to identify the best path for them. She strongly believes in the power of the therapeutic relationship and a foundation of trust. Through a person-centered and humanistic approach, she strives to create an open, empathetic, and inclusive space that fosters growth and exploration at the client’s pace.

Hannah brings years of previous experience as a mental health practitioner. She primarily worked with adolescents in a day treatment program, both in groups and individually. Her clinical interests include anxiety, depression, trauma, LGBTQ+ clients, chronic illness, school/social issues, and life transitions. Hannah provides therapy for clients across the lifespan, and is particularly passionate about working with adolescents.

Hannah is completing her Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Winona State University, and is expected to graduate in summer of 2026. She will then be working towards her Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) licensure. She also earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology with a minor in theatre arts from Winona State in 2023.

In her free time, Hannah definitely finds ways to stay busy. She loves visiting antique shops to find new additions for her vintage Barbie collection, watching spooky movies, playing video games with friends, and hanging out with her two very large cats.
