Taylor is a graduate level intern at Secure Base Counseling Center currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of the Cumberlands. She provides therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Before entering the mental health field, Taylor spent several years as a middle school language arts teacher, a role that fostered a deep appreciation for supporting young people navigating life’s challenges.

Taylor strives to create a safe, culturally conscious space where every client feels respected and heard. She grounds her work in a client-centered approach and incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strengths-based approaches to help clients increase resilience, manage emotional hurdles, and cultivate growth and self-actualization. She has a particular interest in working with clients of all ages experiencing anxiety, depression, neurodivergence, grief, and life transitions.

Taylor is a recent Minnesota transplant who enjoys exploring all that this great state has to offer with her husband and dog. She also enjoys traveling, reading, and playing piano.
