Kenzie joined Secure Base Counseling Center in July 2026 as a Pre-Licensed Therapist, where she continues to expand her clinical knowledge while growing her work with individuals, couples, and families.
Prior to joining Secure Base Counseling Center, Kenzie completed her graduate internship providing individual therapy to children and adults. She has experience working with clients ages five and older. Her passion for mental health began while working as a Direct Support Professional and continued through her role in Adult Rehabilitative Mental Health Services (ARMHS). In that position, she supported clients in their homes and communities by helping them develop practical skills to improve daily functioning while managing mental health symptoms.
Kenzie’s therapeutic approach is rooted in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and is complemented by Person-Centered and Strengths-Based approaches. She believes in creating a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. Together, we work to identify unhelpful thought patterns, explore the underlying causes of challenges, and develop practical strategies that foster meaningful and lasting change.
Kenzie enjoys working with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, and relationship concerns. She welcomes individuals of all ages, genders, and cultural backgrounds and strives to provide compassionate, inclusive care tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
Outside of the office, Kenzie enjoys spending time with family and friends, playing with her dog, fishing, playing games, discovering new restaurants and shops, and exploring new experiences.
Kenzie will be working in the New Prague office along with offering telehealth.
