Adelle Jones

Adelle Jones is working towards completing her master’s program in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Southern New Hampshire University. She provides therapy to children, young adults, adults, and anything in between.

Adelle enjoys using Rational Emotive Behavior Theory (REBT) and Adlerian theory to really understand where clients are coming from while also working on changing negative mindsets. She believes that while our past may have made us who we are today, it does not have to dictate who we want to become. This does fall into narrative therapy where you, the client, are the expert in who you are and the stories that you have to tell and the story that you want to write.

While Adelle has been in her master’s program, she has learned a range of skills to be able to work with a wide range of clients. While Adelle is learning and building her skillset, she does have personal experience with trauma, relational conflicts, abuse, disabilities, depression, anxiety, domestic abuse, and neurodivergence. Adelle currently has over five years of experience working with young kids in a daycare setting and working with their families. She uses a trauma-informed approach to guide her sessions and to understand each individual situation as it comes.

Outside of her work, Adelle enjoys spending with her husband and two cats, reading, exercising, and finding a good movie to watch or a cooking show. As she continues forward, she is looking to explore more forms of trauma-informed therapy and other branches that will pique her interest.
