Amari Rivers

Amari Rivers Minnesota therapist

Amari (Ah-MAR-ee) uses she/her pronouns and is a graduate level intern doing individual therapy. She has her bachelors in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and is currently working on getting her MSW.

Amari is willing and able to work with anyone and everyone from children to older adults, however, she has more experience working with younger/middle-aged adults. She is in the beginning stages of learning more about what type of therapy fits her style the best so she’s open to learning more about other types that her clients have heard or experienced before.

Amari has special interest in working with individuals who are experiencing substance use, homelessness, generational trauma, and those experiencing relational issues.

Amari works in person at the Northfield and Farmington location and is available via telehealth.
