Amber E. Snyder, B.A.
Amber is currently earning a degree in Clinical Mental Health from Buena Vista University in Storm Lake, Iowa. She enjoys using a variety of therapeutic approaches however gravitates toward cognitive behavior therapy and rational emotive behavior therapy.
Amber has experience with children 5 and up, adults, adolescents and families. She also has experience with individuals on the autism spectrum, individuals with depression, anxiety and trauma, as well as mood behaviors. She has experience working in the community, residential treatment, hospitals, group homes, foster care homes, schools and with homelessness. Amber has an interest in the links between trauma and mood disorders.
In her spare time, Amber enjoys spending time in her art studio painting, being active with friends, family and pets, reading and watching crime shows.
