Amran Aden MEd

Amran Aden, MEd, is a graduate clinical intern providing therapy to adults and teens using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), narrative therapy, and person-centered approaches. She enjoys working collaboratively with clients to create a safe and culturally responsive space where they can explore their strengths, rewrite unhelpful narratives, and achieve meaningful change. Amran is currently completing her Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at North Dakota State University.

Amran has experience working with anxiety, depression, and trauma-related challenges. Amran is fluent in Somali, Arabic, Korean, French, and English, and is trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Her work is guided by values of empathy, cultural humility, respect, and a deep commitment to honoring each client’s unique story and background.

Amran provides services in the Northfield and New Prague offices, as well as via telehealth.

Outside of her clinical work, Amran enjoys spending time with friends, nieces, and nephews, and traveling internationally during the holidays.
