Courtney Kopischke, BA
Courtney Kopischke, MHC, Clinical Trainee, Graduate student at Grand View University working towards a Masters in Clinical and Mental Health Counseling. She has previous experience working as a clinical intern at an inpatient drug and alcohol treatment center, leading groups, classes, and presentations for clients.
Courtney enjoys working with all demographics but particularly has a passion for working with adolescents and young adults struggling with anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addiction, and abrupt/life-changing experiences and events.
Courtney’s approach to therapy prioritizes psychotherapy in a client-centered view, prioritizing empathic understanding, congruence, and unconditional positive regard, focusing on the unique perspective of each client.
Courtney likes to be outside in her free time, whether hiking, coaching, or crafting. After retiring as a collegiate athlete, Courtney enjoys being active and sporty. She can often be found at the softball fields, where she spends the majority of her time coaching her team or leading clinics and developing young athletes.
