Emily Like Schuleman, MS, LPCC enjoys working with adolescents and adults in individual psychotherapy. She has a special interest in working with individuals who have experienced trauma through the use of EMDR therapy. 

Emily utilizes several different treatment theories and modalities in sessions. Emily identifies herself as a person-centered therapist and utilizes techniques from Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Family Systems Theory. 

Emily has specialization training in EMDR, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure Therapy. She also serves as a group leader for an Adult DBT Group at SBCC. She is currently interested in postpartum treatment and is working on a certification in this area. 

Emily earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Freed-Hardeman University out of Henderson, TN. Emily grew up in a small Tennessee town and has lived in several different states. She recently moved back here in December 2022 from Florida and has a special love for the winter. Emily enjoys quilting and hanging out with her family in her spare time.
