Gabriella Vargas, MSW, LGSW

Gabriella Vargas, MSW, LGSW, graduated from the University of Saint Mary’s in August 2025 with her MSW in Clinical Social Work. Gabriella is a clinical trainee working towards her LICSW at Secure Base Counseling Center. Gabriella provides psychotherapy to adults, children, adolescents, couples, and families. Gabriella is Mental Health First Aid certified, as well as CPR certified. Gabriella speaks both English and Spanish.

Gabriella has had many internship experiences. She has interned with the Northfield Hospital & Clinics, the Northfield Public Schools, with Lutheran Social Services in The National Capital Area in Washington DC, and previously with Secure Base Counseling Center for her master’s degree. Gabriella has experience working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, homelessness, and neurodiversity. Gabriella is open to working with all ages, groups, and individuals. Gabriella is interested in using empowerment theory, family systems, and person-centered approaches. Gabriella will mainly be stationed in the Northfield office.

Outside of work, Gabriella is usually inside with a book, or out with friends and family when she isn’t working. Gabriella also really enjoys playing video games, and soccer games with her partner.
