Greg Schlichter, MA, QMHP, CADC-III, LPCC is a Qualified Mental Health Practitioner, Board Certified Counselor, Certified Alcohol Drug Counselor- level III, and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor . He graduated with an Advanced Master’s degree in Co-occurring Disorders from the Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School.
Greg previously managed transitional care programs for people with co-occurring mental health disorders, designed and guided well-being programs for adolescents, coached addiction counselors at inpatient and outpatient treatment settings, and worked with individuals experiencing symptoms from transitional life challenges, anxiety, depression and trauma. Additionally, he has completed EMDRIA-certified level 1 training in performing EMDR therapy for individuals with PTSD.
He works with families and couples in creating harmonious relationships in which individuals are empowered to celebrate increased autonomy along with an increased sense of healthy belonging.
His therapeutic approach is based on a holistic, person-centered perspective. Greg believes the basis for advancing personal growth and overcoming difficult challenges are built from a collaborative therapeutic relationship. He has a passion for using mindfulness and skill development in creating individualized therapies to expand a person’s courage and confidence to attain positive changes. Of special interest is empowering people to gain mastery in coping with transitional life issues, anxiety, depression, addiction, and self-image.
In Greg’s free time, he enjoys sharing experiences with live music and art with friends, exploring nature and learning about new discoveries in science.
