Hanah Sicinski, MSW, LGSW
Hanah Sicinski, MSW, LGSW, is currently a Clinical Trainee at Secure Base Counseling Center, on track to become an Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW). Hanah graduated with her Bachelor’s in Social Work from Lipscomb University in 2024 and furthered her education at the University of Kentucky, where she obtained her Master’s in Social Work in 2025.
Hanah provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. Hanah enjoys incorporating a variety of different therapeutic approaches and modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Exposure and Response Therapy, Faith-Based and Christian Counseling, Narrative Therapy, and Play Therapy, ensuring they are client-centered and strengths-based.
Hanah has experience in social work, case management, foster care, youth mental health facilities, and non-profit organizations. She supports those with a variety of concerns including those with anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, eating disorders, OCD, PTSD, substance use challenges, suicidal ideation/self-harm, and many more. Hanah is especially drawn to working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Her background includes, but is not limited to, working with those who have endured domestic violence, sexual abuse, and religious trauma.
Hanah’s practice is rooted in trust and patience. She believes that no life experience is exactly the same and therefore provides an individualized and tailored approach to the therapeutic process. She understands that starting therapy can feel vulnerable, and she prioritizes creating a space where clients feel safe, heard, and genuinely understood. Hanah works collaboratively with her clients, creating a supportive space where they can explore their thoughts and emotions at their own pace. She values authenticity and strives to meet each person with empathy, curiosity, and respect, helping them build insight, resilience, and meaningful change.
In her personal life, Hanah enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and puppy! She loves reading, volunteering with her church, taking walks, and “sunflowering” in the sunshine!
