Hanan Mohamud
Hanan is excited to offer her support as a therapist with a focus on helping adolescents, children, families, and marginalized communities. Currently, she is pursuing a Marriage and Family Therapy (MFT) degree at St. Mary’s University, building upon her psychology degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, where she graduated in 2019.
Hanan is passionate about trauma work and enjoys assisting individuals through life transitions, managing anxiety, and addressing depression. Her experience includes working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and their families, which has deepened her commitment to providing empathetic and informed care.
As a bilingual therapist fluent in Somali and English, Hanan is dedicated to creating an inclusive and respectful space for clients from all cultural backgrounds.
