Isabelle Childs, BS, is a graduate-level intern at Secure Base Counseling Center and works with clients at the Farmington location in-person and via telehealth. Isabelle earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Concordia University, Saint Paul. She is currently completing her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Adler Graduate School. After graduation she will be working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).

Isabelle enjoys working with adolescent and adult clients. Her therapeutic approaches are centered in Adlerian, Narrative, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. This creates a person-centered, creative and goal-oriented approach to counseling. Isabelle believes that utilizing play therapy and artistic or narrative creativity in session is not limited to a particular age. Counseling is a collaborative and individualized experience for every client.

When not working or in school, Isabelle enjoys hiking, reading fictional novels, and trying new baking recipes. Isabelle and her husband enjoy local coffee shops and exploring antique stores around Minnesota.
