Jenny Menden

Jenny Menden is a graduate level intern at Secure Base Counseling Center receiving clinical supervision. She is working towards her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Bellevue University. Jenny’s therapy style incorporates person-centered, narrative, and constructivist approaches. Jenny believes in empowering clients through their strengths. She looks forward to working with children, adolescents, adults, and families while at Secure Base Counseling Center.

Jenny has experience as an elementary education teacher, graduating from Minnesota State University, Mankato with her undergraduate degree. Her time as a teacher emphasized the importance of a relationship built on trust and safety. Her ultimate goal within a therapy session is for clients to feel safe and heard.

Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, camping, reading, and hiking. She loves being outdoors when it is not too hot and not too buggy.

Jenny is located at the New Prague site and is available for new clients.
