Jillian Sharp, LICSW
Jillian Sharp, LICSW, is thrilled to be a part of the SBCC team. She primarily provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, but has experience working with children, families, and couples. Jillian’s mindset for providing mental health services is based on the belief in every person’s ability to thrive while understanding and honoring themselves and their story, growing and healing through the challenges and changes of life. She considers it an honor to journey alongside individuals in an inclusive and supportive therapeutic setting.
Jillian utilizes predominantly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy with an emphasis on solution-focused interventions. She has a compassionate and practical approach and strives to individualize the experience for every client. Her areas of specialty are grief and loss, anxiety, depression, trauma, postpartum care, relational conflicts, and family dynamics and history. Jillian is most interested in the individual’s story and greatly values one’s strengths, goals, and experiences.
Jillian is a strong believer that healing happens through relationships and greatly values the therapeutic relationship in her work. She provides supportive, relational, and strengths-based therapy that facilitates healing and growth. In her free time, Jillian enjoys sports, painting and photography, reading a good book, and spending time with her family and friends.
