Jordyn McCormack, BS

 Hannah Beumer

Jordyn McCormack, a Graduate Clinical Intern, started at SBCC in June 2026. She is interested in providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and backgrounds who may be facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, life transitions, relational conflicts, loneliness, and a vast range of other life stressors. Jordyn prioritizes establishing a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental space and relationship where her clients can feel comfortable being authentic and processing their struggles. She approaches therapy using a combination of cognitive-behavioral, strengths-based, and attachment theories to explore the connections between thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, understand relational patterns, and highlight past successes to guide her clients toward their envisioned direction.

Jordyn earned her Bachelor’s of Psychology from the University of Wisconsin- La Crosse in 2024, and is currently working to finish her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Northern Arizona University. Outside of SBCC, Jordyn enjoys spending time with her loved ones, reading, watching and playing sports, being on the lake, and staying active outdoors.
