Kailee Ruiz, MA LMFT
Kailee Ruiz, MA, LMFT, provides psychotherapy to adults, couples, and families using systemic and strengths-based approaches. Kailee is drawn to narrative therapy,cognitive behavioral therapy, and emotionally focused therapy approaches, which allows the client to be the expert of their lives and incorporates a mind-body connection.
Kailee believes that people are social beings that are influenced by the relationships in their lives. Kailee’s goal is to help individuals, couples and families develop or utilize skills they already possess, to accomplish their goals.
Kailee completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Family Social Science at the University of Minnesota in 2019. Kailee graduated with her Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota in Fall of 2022. She has been a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Minnesota since November of 2024.
Kailee’s professional areas of interest and experience include relationship concerns, adjustment to life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma, grief/loss, and sexual concerns. Kailee specializes in probation work, specifically working with juveniles that have committed a sexual offense that seek therapeutic services through a diversion program. Kailee was also certified through Prepare and Enrich as a Facilitator for Pre-Marital Counseling in October of 2022.
Kailee is originally from Denver, Colorado and has been living in the state of Minnesota since 2015. Kailee lives in St. Paul with her husband and their dog, Finnley. Kailee enjoys a variety of activities such as camping, traveling, running, and enjoying time with friends.
