Kali Dahlke, BA

Kali is a graduate level intern at Secure Base Counseling Center and is working towards her masters degree in clinical social work. She is in the MSW program at Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. Kali welcomes clients of all ages and backgrounds, and uses a person-centered approach to therapy. She is interested in mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT) to help clients gain more self awareness and control over their lives. She is also interested in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT) to help the individual address the negative thoughts, feelings and behaviors associated with trauma.
Kali has previous experience as a targeted case manager working with adults with severe and persistent mental illness. She is interested in working with the following diagnoses: depression, anxiety, PTSD, dissociative identity disorder. She is interested in working with clients with relationship concerns and trauma, more specifically medical trauma.
Outside of work, Kali enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, painting, and baking bread. She also has two cats named Jaspurr and Honey that bring comfort and joy to the family.
