Karly Resendiz, MS
Karly Resendiz, MS, Clinical Counseling Trainee, provides psychotherapy to adults, and adolescents using both systematic and strengths-based therapeutic approaches. Karly earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Bay Path University in 2026. Karly is working towards her licensure in clinical mental health counseling in Minnesota.
Karly has experience working with clients experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, and suicidality, as well as crisis intervention. As a clinical counseling trainee, Karly practices Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Throughout her clinical internship, Karly participated in trauma-based therapeutic approaches, such as Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). Karly looks forward to continuing her training and education to receive certification in the above listed therapeutic approaches to further assist her community.
Outside of work, Karly spends her time outdoors in nature. She enjoys going on trail rides with her horse, Zachary, or relaxing on her family farm with the goats, chickens, and pigs. When it is too cold to be outside, Karly enjoys reading horror novels or manga, sewing/knitting, writing poetry, or planning her next tattoo.
