Katherine Minnesota therapist

Katherine is actively in her master’s program at the Chicago School receiving her degree in Mental Health Counseling. She is a clinical trainee under supervision with Secure Base Counseling Center. Katherine’s therapy style is person centered, trauma informed, Adlerian and she leans on attachment theory. Katherine’s therapeutic approaches include narrative therapy, CBT, inner child work, somatic techniques, and mindfulness approaches. Katherine has a primary focus working with young adults, adults, and older individuals. 

Katherine has a background of 6 years working in the medical field as Recreational Therapist. During this time she gained experience with holistic approaches and techniques. Katherine is LGBTQ inclusive and has a special interest in work with religious trauma/religious deconstruction, medical trauma, childhood trauma, as well as working with family dynamics. Katherine also has a specialty interest in working with grief and loss. 

When Katherine is not working, she enjoys hiking and spending quality time with friends. Katherine enjoys listening to music as well as participating in the gym throughout the week. She also enjoys art, museums, and participating in creative activities. Katherine is in the Northfield office and is open for Telehealth appointments
