Katie Shadrick
Katie Shadrick, MA, LPCC provides psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, and families using a client-centered approach. She enjoys using cognitive behavioral techniques to assist clients to overcome the obstacles they are currently experiencing in their life. Katie earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychological Services from St. Mary’s University of Minnesota in 2012. She has been a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in the state of Minnesota since 2018.
Katie has experience working with trauma, depression, anxiety, bereavement/grief, mood disorders, personality disorders, PTSD, pain management, health/physical disabilities, LGBTQ+ clients, neurodivergent clients, co-occurring disorders, and clients with serious and persistent mental illness. Katie is also certified in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.
Katie is also a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy Certified LPCC approved supervisor since 2022. She has worked at Secure Base Counseling Center since 2024. Katie is interested and planning to pursue training/certification as a Mental Health and Nutrition Clinical Specialist and as a Certified Grief Informed Professional.
Outside of her work, Katie has a husband and two dogs at home. Her family enjoys going on motorcycle rides/trips and spending time with extended family. She also enjoys scrapbooking, diamond dot art, reading, and watching movies.
