Kyla Leasure

 Hannah Beumer

Kyla Leasure is a Marriage and Family Intern completing her clinical training through Capella University with an expected graduation date of September 2027. She practices from an Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) framework while being collaborative and person-centered in her approach.

Before entering the mental health field, Kyla has spent more than 15 years working with individuals with disabilities across the lifespan, from infant to older adults. This experience has given her a deep appreciation for the unique strengths, challenges and resiliency that each individual, family and couple has.

Kyla enjoys working with individuals, couples and families experiencing concerns such as caregiver stress, anxiety, grief and loss, addiction, self-esteem and emotional regulation. Her ultimate goal is to create a space that is supportive and non-judgemental where those she serves feel heard and respected at a pace that makes sense to them.

Outside of work, Kyla enjoys thrifting, traveling (mostly to the ocean) and spending time with her loved ones.
