Lisa Vanderveen-Nagel, MS, LPCC, LICSW, enjoys providing psychotherapy to adolescents, adults, couples and families.
Lisa provides therapy from a psychodynamic, person-centered approach creating a safe and non-judgmental space for healing and growth. She partners with the clients that she serves to work to identify barriers to self-discovery and wholeness. Lisa utilizes a strengths-based approach in therapy to aid clients in identifying how problems can be addressed.
She has worked in the field of Human Services for over thirty years and during that time has gained a vast knowledge of working with those experiencing symptoms from bereavement, death and dying, trauma, PTSD, military veteran mental health, LGBT populations, psychotic disorders, intellectual disabilities, anxiety and depression.
Lisa is dually licensed as a Professional Clinical Counselor and a Clinical Social Worker, providing her with a background in both mental health wellness and advocacy. She is also certified as a clinical trauma professional.
Lisa is a board approved supervisor for both Clinical Social Workers and Clinical Professional Counselors. She received her Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling from Minnesota State University Mankato.
