Malia Hunt, BA
Malia is working toward her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy through Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota. She has previous experience working with children at various childcare programs, working with families at a visitation center, and experience providing CTSS services.
Malia will be working in the Northfield office. She is interested in working with all demographics but has a particular passion for working with children and adolescents, as well as families. Malia is especially interested in working with individuals who experience anxiety, depression, or are going through difficult life transitions. She hopes to utilize a client-centered approach that empowers individuals to achieve personal growth and create meaningful changes in their lives. Malia will create a safe and welcoming environment that allows clients to openly share their experiences and engage in a journey of self-discovery.
In her free time, Malia enjoys spending time with her friends and family. She loves to travel, bike, go to the lake, and go on walks with her dog.
