Mandy Kvam, MA

Mandy Kvam, MA, enjoys providing therapy to children, adolescents, and adults in various settings and works well with individuals. She has a passion for working with the teen to young adult population.

Mandy uses a client-centered and systemic approach to therapy by placing emphasis on clients’ symptoms, getting to know them as a person, and focusing on the external, relational, and family history patterns that contribute to the client’s current concerns. She has experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, abuse, and autism spectrum disorder. She also works to consciously address multicultural concerns, beliefs/spirituality issues, and stressors brought on by society.

Mandy earned her master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from Bethel University – St. Paul. She began practicing in 2017 at SBCC as a Clinical Trainee. Mandy is currently working to obtain her license as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor.

Outside of her work at SBCC, Mandy enjoys spending time camping in the summer and quality time with her husband, family and friends.
