Nina earned her Master’s Degrees from Adler Graduate School of Minneapolis Minnesota in Clinical Counseling and Marriage & Family Therapy. Nina utilizes approaches of Adlerian and person centered therapy and such therapeutic techniques as Mindfulness, CBT, DBT, and motivational interviewing, among many other evidence based practices. She has specialized training in Crisis Response, trauma informed and SFT (Systemic Family Therapy).

Nina has experience working with individuals, couples, family systems, children, adolescents, and adults. Areas of interest include anxiety, depression, ADHD, personality disorders and paraphilias. She has experience working with eating disorders, mental illness, and serious and persistent mental illness.

Nina spent 2 years on the Human Rights Commission in her community. Her interests and hobbies include civic engagement, drawing, vocal performance, metal detecting, foraging and spending time with her two sons and their dogs.
