Sabrina Butgusaim, BS
Sabrina is a graduate level intern at Secure Base Counseling Center and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Walden University. She provides therapy to children, adolescents, families, couples, and adults. Before entering the mental health field, Sabrina worked as an elementary teacher and a middle school special education teacher. This background gives her a practical, compassionate understanding of the unique social and emotional challenges young people face today, and she especially loves working with middle schoolers.
In the therapy room, Sabrina blends a fun, down-to-earth energy with deep empathy to make clients feel instantly welcome and safe. She prioritizes building an honest, low-pressure connection where clients can show up exactly as they are. To support her clients, she integrates practical coping tools from Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) with the empowering perspective of Narrative Therapy.
Outside of the clinic, you can find Sabrina spending quality time with her children and family. She also has a deep passion for performing in musicals and enjoys exploring the area with her recently adopted rescue dog.
