Sarah Vanyo, MPS, LADC, Clinical Trainee, graduated from The University of Minnesota’s Master of Professional Studies in Integrated Behavioral Health Program, with a focus on co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders in 2022. Her special interests include trauma, grief and loss, and addictions. 

Sarah enjoys working with clients of all demographics, but particularly likes to work with families, children, and adolescents. Her approach to therapy is primarily from an attachment, and psychodynamic lens. She uses many different interventions, including narrative therapy, somatic approaches, play therapy, and cognitive behavioral therapy.  

In her free time, Sarah likes to spend time with her Australian Shepard, Nike, and her Cockapoo, Malcolm. She also enjoys reading, going for walks, and listening to live music.
