Stephanie Myers, MS
Stephanie Myers is a clinical trainee at Secure Base Counseling Center, working towards becoming a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). She brings substantial experience from her previous roles as a mental health case manager, program director, and with experience in direct support. She enjoys working with all ages and populations. Stephanie has a special interest in working with teens and adults who are navigating challenges in daily living, such as generalized anxiety, depression, OCD, PTSD, and substance use disorder. She is passionate about supporting individuals who are going through significant transitions, whether it be from the justice system or individuals who are exploring their gender identity, it does not matter the population. This includes whether it be relational, housing or otherwise.
In her work, Stephanie utilizes a person-centered therapeutic approach, empowering clients to be active participants in their well being. She also incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psycho-dynamic Psychotherapy, Interpersonal therapy as well as Dialectal Behavioral Therapy into helping clients develop a greater self-awareness and coping strategies to achieve a better understanding of themselves. Stephanie provides therapy services at Northfield, Farmington, as well as Via Telehealth, offering flexible times and days to meet clients’ needs.
Outside of her professional life, Stephanie enjoys spending time with family, her loved ones and her dogs. Her hobbies include reading, golfing, and shopping.
