Tayler Kahlow, MA, LADC addiction therapist in Minnesota

Tayler Kahlow, MA, LADC is a clinical trainee at Secure Base Counseling Center, and earned her master’s degree in Addiction Studies: Integrated Recovery for Co-Occurring Disorders from Hazelden Betty Ford Graduate School of Addiction Studies in 2018. She is an LADC and is working towards licensure as an LPCC. Tayler will provide CTSS skills and ARMHS in the New Prague community, as well as some therapy in the New Prague office.

Tayler has worked in the social services field for 10 years and has gained experience working with diverse populations in many different settings such as outpatient treatment, those incarcerated, and individuals seeking services in the public. She has worked with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, bipolar disorders, borderline personality disorders, substance use disorders, posttraumatic stress disorder, and co-occurring disorders. She also has experience working with first responders and LGBTQ+ populations.

Tayler approaches therapy and each client interaction differently, as each client is unique and requires a client-centered approach. She has a special interest in trauma, family systems, and she loves helping clients to process difficult upbringings and family dynamics.

Outside of work, Tayler enjoys spending time with family and friends at the lake, cooking, learning, and traveling.
