Torey Flint-Kjellgren, clinical intern, provides individual psychotherapy using interpersonal and strengths-based approaches. He believes that every individual is unique and has the potential to make lasting positive changes in their lives. He enjoys working collaboratively with clients to identify and further develop the strengths they already possess to assist them in achieving their specific goals. He also draws on CBT, Solution-Focused, and mindfulness skills based on client needs. Torey earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Gustavus Adolphus College in 2020 and is currently in the process of earning his MSW at the University of St. Thomas.

Torey has previous experience providing outpatient psychotherapy to children, adolescents, and adults. He has worked with clients facing a variety of challenges, including depression, anxiety, adjustment to life changes, relationship concerns, and trauma. He also has previously worked with clients with SPMI diagnoses as an ARMHS worker and with individuals with Developmental Disabilities as a DSP.

Outside of work, Torey enjoys reading, travel, and spending time with friends and family.
