William Zopfi-Jordan, BS

William Zopfi-Jordan, BS Therapist in Northfield and Farmington

William is a graduate intern at Secure Base working towards their Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling through Capella University. He believes that providing support is achieved not only through being present and attuned during sessions, but also by helping to ease environmental burdens through advocacy, connection to community resources, or aiding with interpersonal concerns.

When it comes to therapeutic style, William gravitates towards seeing how the issues in clients’ lives have exerted their influence with narrative therapy, discovering the strengths and values that will be used in overcoming them with solution-focused therapy, conceptualizing how the mind and environment may be contributing to the issue with cognitive-behavioral therapy, and incorporating neuroscientific and bodily understandings into treatment when they arise. He is open to working with anyone and everyone in their journey towards wellness.

Outside of work, William is passionate about volunteering through Habitat for Humanity and the Open Door Pantry, and loves being with his family that includes two cats.
